We are growing our professional team and are hiring a Chief Nursing Officer. This position will have the primary responsibilities of supervising clinical staff in performance of their duties, planning, coordinating, and delivering services to patient/families under the care of Hospice and Community Care. Works closely with the Medical Director to assure that quality services are provided and documented in accordance with applicable standards for licensure, certification, and reimbursement. The Chief Nursing Officer must be aware of the needs, expertise, and comfort level of all team members and of member of the health care community in order to effectively coordinate care plans, assignments, and facilitate team building and good relationships with the medical community.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferred) in nursing, 2+ years of clinical leadership, and must be licensed to provide care in South Carolina. Supervisory and administrative experience preferred. Evidence of successful completion of competency evaluation. Must have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and flexible to meet the constant work environment changes, must work well independently, and in a work team environment. This competent and experienced professional should exhibit behaviors of accountability, flexibility, integrity, respect, strong character, and collaboration.
