Hospice & Community Care Launches Children’s Grief Video Series

Hospice & Community Care is proud to announce the launch of our new educational video series. With the help of local expert, Sarah Hopkins, MSW, of Winthrop University’s School of Social Work, we will be releasing the video series entitled Navigating Children’s Grief During Uncertain Times. The series is hosted by Hopkins and discusses how to support children ages 6-12 years old through losses that they may be facing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Beginning Wednesday, July 29, a new video will be available every Wednesday for 6 weeks, with the final video being a Q&A featuring questions sent in by viewers during the first 5 weeks. Videos will be available on Hospice & Community Care’s YouTube page as well as linked from the Facebook event and the Hospice & Community Care website at https://hospicecommunitycare.org/resources/navigating/. These video resources are free to the public and will remain available for viewing after the series ends.

For questions related to the video series, please contact Jenifer Crawford, Director of Family Services at 803-329-1500 or jcrawford@wordpress-517114-2582534.cloudwaysapps.com.
